I have worried having all boys that I would find myself in the Emergency Room often. So I was surprised to have our first trip be on behalf of Kevin. He was elbowed in the eye during a basketball game. I wasn't there so he came home and wanted my opinion as to whether it needed stitches or not. But every time I looked at it, it made my pregnant belly nauseous. I told him he would have to make that call himself. Luckily that night he had to go to another family's house to church stuff and they assured him it needed stitches. So we came home packed some food and his computer and headed off to the ER at 11:00 pm. Several hours later he woke up with me staring at this eye trying to count how many stitches there were. It was three. I was surprised for splitting the skin that his eye didn't get more black or swollen. Warning if pregnant you may not want to view these pictures. HAHA
