Our New Arrival

It happened 5 weeks ahead of schedule, but the little guy decided it was his time. The joke's on him, because due to his early arrival, he remains nameless (mom and dad thought they had 5 more weeks to iron out that minor detail). More details to come once mom gets home from the hospital and chronicles her adventure. I will say that once again, I was so very impressed, and proud of Sarah. She never ceases to amaze me, even on our third child, she was in her typical form - which is to say she was ready for anything, endured much pain without complaint (even smiled in between pushes), and brought the little guy safely into the world, showing why she is truly a champion mom.

He was 5 lbs, 12 oz, and was 18 inches long. Not bad for 35 weeks, and nearly half the size of Quin at birth. This is my (Kevin's) first blog post, so we'll see if any of these pictures actually work. You can see that Kale and Quin are very excited for their new brother. It is hard to tell how small he is in these pics, but you can see how big the newborn diaper is. Thanks to all for their thoughts and prayers during this special time in our family!

Sarah, congrats on the new addition. He's adorable. He reminds me of How big Logan was when he was born except Logan was only three days early. You are lucky you LaPrays have big babies. He is just perfect for 35 weeks. WOW! How fun for you and your family. I am so glad everything turned out well.

Way to go Sarah! I always knew you were the toughest. I remember the white-washes you used to give me at Ricks.
By the way, I think you should name him Eric Becker.
