Team in Training

Kevin is participating in the Team in Training program this year, which is a program to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, in search for a cure for blood cancers. Kevin is trying to raise $3,000 by May, and is about 2/3 of the way there! The reason it is called Team in Training is because those who raise money also train for an endurance event such as a marathon or a triathlon. Kevin is training for the CapTexTri, an Olympic Distance Triathlon in Austin Texas, taking place on Memorial Day weekend. He will swim 1 mile, cycle for 25 miles, and then run 6 miles. He is training pretty hard for it right now, and is doing his best to raise money. He is training and raising money in memory of our friend Dan Heath, who passed away last year after a long battle with Leukemia.
Check out his website to read more and to donate to this great cause!
Here are some pics of his training:

Oh, I'm so out of touch. I'm so sorry that Dan passed away. He was a very cool guy that endured a lot (not that I knew him that well). Very cool cause. I'm impressed with the olypmic triathlon. That just seems impossible to me.
